I have become increasingly concerned by letters comparing Pres. Trump to Hitler.
I travel a lot, and I have yet to see a concentration camp in America. Maybe someone could advise me where they are and I will make every effort to do something about it. Additionally, Mr. Trump has never ordered me to do or not do anything. Ditto, Vladimir Putin. If they ever do, trust me, I will be the first one screaming at the top of my lungs.
I'm also disturbed by comments about health care. Please list the names of Republicans invited to help develop what is now called Obamacare. Not only did Republicans not help write this monstrosity, not a single one voted for it. Neither party read it "we have to pass it to see what is in it." ACA adviser Jonathan Gruber stated: "we couldn't have gotten this through if the American people weren't so stupid." Really?
People who want single-payer health care, should take a look at the VA hospitals.I know veterans who cannot get the care they need in a timely manner. That's government health care. I cannot remember seeing people dying in the streets before Obamacare. That's because doctor's take an oath to preserve human life. Do you really want some bureaucrat in Washington, D.C. deciding what health care you receive? Do you want them deciding if your loved ones live or die?
Do I have all the answers? Of course not. Our country isn't perfect, but it would be a lot better if people were more civil and kind to each other. Stop the violence (shooting people on a baseball field), setting cars on fire, and smashing windows and hitting others with bicycle chains and locks. Remember, together we stand, divided we fall. Which do you prefer?
