The reason there are so many abortions is that there are too many scalpels and forceps readily available. That makes as much sense as blaming guns and the NRA for murder.The liberals, Democrats, progressives, are the ones who promote death and killing. Who is in favor of abortion, assisted suicide, and euthanasia? Who defends and promotes all kinds of killings, perversion and violence to permeate every form of media, available to anyone, anywhere.
In the mid '60s I took my rifle to shop class in high school to refinish the stock. I carried it in a case, onto the school bus, into my school and put it in my unlocked locker until after lunch when I carried it down the hall to the classroom. And I was not the only one to do so, and nobody thought a thing of it. What has changed since then? It is our culture, not the number of guns or the number of people with mental illness, or the influence of the NRA. The collective morality of our country has degraded to such an extent that our vice president is accused of being mentally ill because he is a Christian and will not be alone with a woman other than his wife. This is what society becomes when the "freedom from religion" influences the norms of culture. One of the Ten Commandments is "Thou shalt not kill." But the liberals have declared it is wrong to post the Ten Commandments anywhere in the public sphere, so by default, they must think it is OK to kill. And that is what young people are learning.
