Stewart Mills III, in talking about the Second Amendment, was quoted in the Dispatch as proclaiming: "It is an inalienable right given to us by God."

Huh? What?

I can only envision two scenarios that can explain why Mills would make such a statement: He is either naturally so out-of-touch-with-reality, or he's been listening to and embracing delusional thinking.

Nowhere in the Bible I read is there any mention of God addressing the topic of a right to gun ownership, and, the last time I checked, God did not write our Constitution or its amendments.

It's sad to see someone so desperate for power that he will resort to fabricating his own "facts" in order to achieve it. But, to some, the end justifies any means, no matter how despicable they may be. At the same time, it also reveals the character of the person who employs such means.
