There is only one clear choice for the 2018 Crow Wing County Sheriff. Capt. Scott Goddard. Captain Goddard has the demeanor, temperament and management training needed to lead a multi-million dollar agency with approximately 130 employees. Captain Goddard was hired as a patrol deputy over 20 years ago. Since that time, he has tested and been promoted to sergeant, lieutenant and now captain. He has been tasked with managing several divisions within the department and has shown excellence in his work duties. Scott Goddard has the ability to develop community partnerships and was instrumental in implementing the ALICE program (active shooter response) in Crow Wing County. He is compassionate and concerned about our mental health and opioid crises as well as the human trafficking problem impacting our county. Scott Goddard is a genuine person who has dedicated his life to protecting and serving his community. Vote Scott Goddard for Sheriff!
