I find it interesting that there was no positive reaction to the law enforcement handling of the call in Crosby in regards to threats of a 12-year-old with firearms. In some areas of the country it would probably have ended up with the boy being shot. I am sure that if that had happened in this situation there would have been a lot of letters and criticism of the officers involved.
We need to let our law enforcement community know that we are very grateful for the way that they handled this dangerous situation. Thank you to the Crow Wing County deputies, Crosby and Cuyuna police officers for the way this was taken care of.
