Reader Opinion: Great work by Baxter

I would like to extend my thanks to the city of Baxter and the Baxter City Council for another great Night to Unite. It was a beautiful, sunny, breezy evening of music and fun.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the Baxter Police Department. Chief Exsted has done a wonderful job with his staff. They are all caring, respectful and proud to protect and serve the city of Baxter. Officers Timm and Meier got on the microphone and gave heartfelt thanks to the residents for their support through the rocky, recent events involving law enforcement in our country. It was very touching to see this expression of appreciation.

Keep up the great work. It is greatly valued and appreciated.
