What do you get when you have a divided government, hundreds of thousands of furloughed and unpaid workers, politicians, and a wall (or lack thereof)? A government shutdown that is neither necessary or effective. More debt. More egotistical decisions. More Americans who can't support themselves and their families. More illegal immigrants coming into our country.
It's time for our government and president to come to an agreement so that our workers can work, our country can regulate immigration, and we can get back to business as soon as possible. The well being of our country and people isn't a game or joke. Is a wall the answer to all of our immigration issues? I don't know. Is reopening the government to reach solutions to our issues more important than which side of the aisle or non-existent border wall you're on? Absolutely.
