Theft of two Supreme Court seats. Presidential election 2016 in which Russian dictator is big winner. Tax-code "reform" that wasn't.

Tax rates were lowered as a handout to GOP donors, multinational corporations. Losers-everyone else. Lost federal revenue used as excuse to ignore infrastructure, health care, education and to threaten loss of our Social Security again.

Yet, the Republican state house member from Nisswa writes (Opinion Feb. 3) about "a sick tax." It's a false-flag tax piety. Launching of another item on the wish list of special interests.

At the end, for readers enduring the entire piece, they learn the real focus: procedures "like baby deliveries" in health care.

Represent us by lowering prescription drug prices. Such a proposal, bipartisan, exists in Congress. Aim is to finally allow Americans to pay same lower prices that Canadians pay. There is bona fide public cost concern in health care.
