I woke up to one of God's most beautiful creations. Just at dawn, the limbs and buds were completely covered with at least one-quarter inch of this most delicate fuzz. It came down like snowflakes, and the second it landed on my hand, it melted.
As soon as the sun started peeking up in the east, it brought a golden color to the frost. It was unusual to see blue sky in a quiet and light snowfall.
The temperature started toward the thawing point, and the limbs started to turn a beautiful golden hue. When the sun got to about noon high, the entire tree started to melt, and the frost turned to dew drops and fell to the ground.
This happened one morning when we were visiting our grand and great-grand family near Blue Earth, Minn. Hearing our favorite words, "Grampa and Gramma," and witnessing the wonderful creation of God, well, it could not be better.
