With all of the evidence piling up, with all of our intelligence agencies warning of Russian sabotage of our most precious right in a democracy (the right to vote in a free and fair elective process), what does the current president choose to do? He stands with the leader of the very country attacking our democracy and states it is actually the Mueller investigation that is "a disaster for our country." He tweets, "our relationship with Russia has never been worse thanks to the many years of U.S. foolishness and stupidity and now the Rigged witch hunt." Imagine, if you will, President Obama standing there with Putin and calling an investigation of election sabotage by a foreign power a "witch hunt." And then, holding a joint press conference with that same leader and questioning the validity of all of our intelligence findings. I could hear the uproar from Fox News and the GOP. Their calls for impeachment, treason and traitor would be so loud the dead could hear them. Where are those voices today? Silent as usual for the most part. How long are congressional Republicans going to close their eyes, ears and brains and allow this to continue? Think about that when you step into the voting booth in November.
