I write in support of renewing Bob Nelson's contract as the Crow Wing County veterans service officer. As the former state representative from this area, I daily heard from my constituents asking for my help with some type of problem they were having. Many of these folks were veterans. My team and I often contacted Bob for his expertise and help on a multitude of veteran's issues. Bob would respond immediately and offer helpful advice or tell me that he he would take care of it, which he did. His knowledge, dedication, compassion and effectiveness are the reasons I feel he needs to be reappointed to help our deserving veterans.
