The last words of Rep. Josh Heintzeman's March 19 Guest Opinion are, "Let's start an honest conversation." There is no mention of where and when this conversation might occur. This is an opinion not backed by invitation to participate in a conversation. This kind of leadership needs to go and be replaced by individuals who know how to include citizens in legislative learning and processes. I wonder if there was an exploratory conversation with citizens and the majority expressed a different opinion, would he then adjust or would he remain firm in his own position?
