I'm tired of our politicians pandering to special interest groups, specifically when it comes to wildlife management in Minnesota. Let's be clear: the gray wolf in Minnesota was previously on the Endangered Species List because they were almost wiped out - and our politicians jumped to a reckless wolf hunt.
Fortunately, federal courts have called out state wolf management plans and, because of this, we have the gray wolf back on the Endangered Species List.
Let's let the experts manage wolves, not politicians. Please, Sens. Klobuchar and Franken, let science-based management strategies work.
