A recent opinion writer pointed an accusing finger toward "Thank a Republican" for their "harmful decisions," and the writer enumerated some, but omitted the historically, most clearly Republican idea of all, that of the emancipation of the slaves 150 years ago. At that time, Democrats were willing to risk their lives and go to war to keep slavery. To end slavery was a "horribly harmful" decision? Today there has been a Republican occupying the White House for barely two months. It has been occupied by a Democrat for the past eight years, during which short period our national debt from more than 200 years of successful operation, and having financed numerous wars, has doubled. The Democratic Party began its "War on Poverty" in January of 1964, more than half a century ago, and a thinking person might expect that we should see some progress toward that end in this period. Instead of eliminating or even reducing the numbers of those in poverty, the actions our country has been taking have created more of them, as the numbers of poverty-level citizens keeps steadily growing, thus more voters to keep the "Party of the Poor" in power. Just who, and why are the very few, but very, very, very rich people who are silently in the background, financially backing the Democratic Party with their billions? George Soros? Others? Why after eight years of a Democratic occupied White House have we doubled our national debt to "help the people," yet the numbers of those in need are steadily increasing? Why? Think?
Why? Because some people just want them so!
And Trump is not a four letter word!
