Many people are accepting predictions by our current scientists that the earth is in danger of flooding in the future because of global warming. The latest statistic is 0.8 degrees warming.
Genesis records a worldwide flood in Noah's day that was sent by God because of the sinfulness of men. Only Noah's family and pairs of all birds and animals were saved in the ark God told them to build.
When they came out of the ark, God promised he would never again destroy the earth by a flood. When you see the rainbow in the clouds after a rain, it shows God remembers His promise. Genesis 9:8-17. They were in the ark a year.
Scientists say we must reduce the amount of CO2 to save the planet. According to the World Book Encyclopedia, CO2 is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gas. Humans and animals exhale CO2. Plants use CO2 to produce food and give off oxygen which people and animals must have to live. Just the way God planned it. CO2 is necessary.
The earth will be destroyed by God again because of sin. Revelation tells us of the judgement God will send on the earth and men and women who refuse to believe in and obey God.

Jesus promised to come back again in the air to take all believers, both dead and alive, to heaven to be with him. After this will be seven years called the Great Tribulation when these judgements will come.
After this destruction, God will remake the earth and Jesus Christ will reign on the earth for 1,000 years. Thus will be no more sea. Animals will eat plants, not each other.
Man cannot change this. Reducing CO2 production will affect our food supply, also foretold.
