Thursday's Dispatch had an opinion piece from a veteran who thinks his military pension should be treated differently than all other pensions by having his pension not taxed in Minnesota. He thanked Gazelka and Heintzeman for apparently supporting that idea.

In his letter he states that he is looking forward to leaving the state because of overtaxation. I say "don't let the door hit you in the butt." Go!

Who does he think will make up the difference in taxes if military pensions are treated differently? Come on people, the military is already getting more than they originally signed up for.
