We are writing to publicly thank several Brainerd area businesses for recent support of the Senior Nutrition Program (aka, Friendship Dining Room and Meals on Wheels).
The site is busy developing strategies to serve the growing need of older adults in our community. The first phase of the plan, re-purpose the site and create an appealing place for people to eat. We would like to publicly thank Hirshfield's who provided design expertise and beautiful paint; Ace Hardware who provided necessary painting supplies; and Gary's Painting who volunteered to expertly paint the site. If you know of an older adult who would benefit from the resource please refer them to the Friendship Dining Room. We are more than a meal. You can find us on the lower level of The Center on Kingwood Street.
