So today, our president pulled us out of the Paris climate agreement. I think it shows the weakness of our government, when any president can recklessly do such actions against the will of the people but be that as it might be. This man is fast on the way to go down in history as the most bumbling person who ever occupied the oval office. Think about it, every other country in the world, except two insignificant countries, signed the accord. We live and work in a global setting that is essential to our survival. But Donald Trump knows better than the rest of the world. The only rationale for his actions seems to be because he can.

Climate change is real and happening at an accelerated rate. It won't happen overnight but it will happen and although it will be beyond my time it won't be beyond my grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's time. I wish, in a way, I would be here to see the seas claim the president's Palm Beach Estate. To see the Atlantic waters pour into the basement of Trump Towers but that would be vindictive and I'm not going to go there because at the same time it would ruin the lives of millions of other people.

So many times in my life after calamities, I have heard the words "life will go on," uttered. The problem is life will not go on for millions when this happens. To be fair the president didn't start this, we all did and it might be too late to stop it. But by his actions, he and his followers choose to speed up the process.
