A former local state legislator claims that a one-payer system in health care is the "easiest way to go."

Sure, it may be easier to administer, especially for a tyrannical government. But it does not mean it is efficient or effective. It most certainly does not represent the freedom of choice America has always stood for, at least before the rise of the Communists.

Socialist Canada has a one-payer system. Why do so many Canadians come to America for their healthcare needs?

I'm sure healthcare is complex, as he suggests, but just what in the world did he do about it for those 32 years as Chairman if it still needs fixing?

I don't believe Rep. Heintzeman politicized the issue. But Mr. Samuelson certainly has.
