Integrity, enthusiasm, and compassion are just three words that quickly come to mind when thinking about Pat Pickar. Pickar is authentic in all he does and says; he leads by example. Pickar's own personal military service to our country speaks volumes about the sacrifices Pickar is willing to make for our community. Pickar has the police management-supervision training and experience as a deputy chief to lead the sheriff's office. Being a registered nurse, educator, and parent of three teenagers, I fully support his vision to continue to grow mental health services, focus on drug and sex trafficking and his community policing efforts. Pickar recognizes the importance of fostering community relationships. Pickar will communicate openly with the people of Crow Wing County to make important decisions. Pickar will work tirelessly, with enthusiasm, and do what is right and in the best interest of Crow Wing County. Pick Pickar Nov. 6.
