I'm writing in support of Pat Pickar for sheriff. I was the victim of financial fraud which could've had a devastating effect on my daughter's future college endeavors. Pickar was the deputy that was assigned to my case and I am grateful for that. Pickar's compassion was evident and he had told me how heartbroken he was for our family and he wasn't taking the case lightly. After many attempts and months of follow-up, the financial company was very uncooperative. Pickar was tenacious in getting to the reason why money went missing. The outcome was a positive one for our family and my daughter's future. Pickar has built a relationship with our family and I understand how he has built relationships in our community through his dedicated service to our community. Thank you Pickar for your compassion, professionalism and perseverance in the best interest of my family.
