If this country trusted in God (and not all its citizens would like this claimed for them anyway), we would not be guilty of torturing detainees or our police shooting innocent, unarmed young black men. At the moment it makes one wince to hear this. If we trusted in God we would not be doing these things. I think we are a little too quick to act like God, rather than trust Him, these days. Wishful thinking, that sign.
