I would like to express my support for the April 6 Reader Opinion entitled "Theocratic Plutocracy?"
The last thing we need to do is elect some overly pious evangelical that takes us back 500 years to the days of the Inquisitions.
As a Republican I feel I have very poor choices this year. Perhaps I'll just write in SpongeBob Squarepants.
