On occasion, I read in opinion columns of someone ripping the United State Postal Service, which is completely unwarranted.
I have been mailing letters on a regular basis for approximately 50 years and have "never" had a lost piece of mail. My understanding is they lose one piece for every 450,000 handled . That is acceptable.
By the way, Christmas is coming, give your carrier a token of your appreciation, they deserve it. I am not affiliated with nor do I know anyone associated with the USPS.
