I have high praise and appreciation for the activities and people who helped to provide the opportunities presented to us this last week. The guides were wonderful, organized and highly informative. They were obviously well prepared with historical knowledge, including their own personal research into their subject. I was pleased with the well-researched booklets and other prepared material that was given out. There were also obvious months/years of preparation for the many activities this week. I am so sorry that I did not participate in more of those offered. As one person said, "If we only knew what we were going to miss." Thank you goes to everyone who planned, presented, opened their businesses, provided monies and so much more for the fantastic opportunities to learn about our community's past. I am already looking forward to next year.
