I have been a resident at Heartwood Senior Facility in Crosby for nine years. We are all pretty much still in shock at what happened here Saturday (Jan. 13) but I want to thank our little community for surrounding us residents with love and prayers through this whole ordeal. We appreciated all your calls, hugs and caring more than you can know.
We are especially thankful for The Crosby Bar and Prairie Bay's Iron Range Cafe for making sure we all had plenty of hot and very good food the whole weekend because our kitchen was closed all weekend. Both of these little Crosby restaurants made sure all of us at Heartwood's 100 apartments had good food for every meal. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you to the whole Crosby community for extending your care to us. We were always safe and never in harms way. You all made us proud to be part of the Crosby community.
