Our next president is filling his cabinet posts with billionaires and former Wall Street executives. Do you really think those people are going to put the average citizen's needs before their own? A billionaire executive got there by gouging the consumer, underpaying the employees and collecting salaries that are an average of 721 times the employee's. An average CEO makes more in 1/2 day than an employee does in a year. Is that not the definition of greed? A businessman's objective is to make money. And what does a billionaire want except more money.
As for getting rid of the Affordable Care Act: Nine years ago when I had private health insurance, it was costing me $250 a month, with a $7,500.00 deductible. Do you think premiums haven't gone up in nine years? Besides millions of people with pre-existing conditions losing their health care, what do you think privatizing it would cost? If there is one industry that shouldn't be for profit, it is health care which can be a matter of life or death.
And to get one more thing off my chest, since Trump is chastising companies that do business in other countries instead of ours, why is he still having his products made in China, Mexico, Bangladesh, Turkey, etc.?
