Well folks it is time for our area legislators to work towards building facilities for our more vulnerable people.

We had a system, we had a place where people could be safe, when they needed to be. We had employees who cared and tried to share their experiences to keep Human Services Centers open. It fell on deaf ears, now we have crisis after crisis in mental health and what are our area legislators doing about this?

We were well trained, we were seasoned, many of us and believed in our clients and our service to our clients. I would safely state 90 percent of us gave all we could, dignity to our clients and helped provide treatment and supervised medication changes when our clients were in crisis. Now many are in jail or on the streets and suffering. So Brainerd area legislators what is your plan to help our most vulnerable in our state? A written response would be novel and welcomed since usually these requests go unanswered!
