Oh, there were times when things looked bleak before, but I've learned to roll with the punches and for the most part there was always some kind of correction when we got going in the wrong direction. You just had to be patient and let things work their way out. But over time, things that should have been taken seriously, were not and the problems seemed to begin piling up.

We all know what it's like to get overwhelmed. That's the point when the balance of power shifts and in this case I am talking about good versus evil. You can sense this shift when problems are not being solved anymore but sort of plastered over. When this happens it's not always a lack of trying, or of wanting to fix it. It's really that there are no real answers anymore, but you don't want to admit it.

I talked about good versus evil and when we think of good, at least for me, words like love and caring come into play. I'm not sure there is any kind of good without a healthy dose of both. Listen to our angry politicians and tell me how much of what they are preaching has love and caring in it. Oh, there is some caring in it but it's misdirected and not for the common people. It's for the party and the campaign contributors. The same people that got us into this mess in the first place.

There are some of you, including some of my friends that will say what a terrible way to write. I agree it is terrible. Terrible, but oh so true-and oh so sad.
