Reader Opinion: Settled science

The Communist left always refers to their dire warnings and ominous predictions regarding climate change catastrophes as "settled science." To them, anyone in disagreement is deserving of imprisonment or worse.

Certainly, climate is merely their latest iteration of scaring you and your children into buying what you would otherwise reject out of hand: total control over your lives.

But let's examine "settled science" the Communists vehemently oppose.

Communists define gender as simply and as fluid as whatever your inner self identifies as at that moment, birth sex be damned.

Real science, on the other hand, has settled the fact that gender is a scientific matter of DNA and which chromosomes you happen to have inherited. Nothing controversial in this since the dawn of time. Until now, where Communists see opportunity to destroy another thread in our societal fabric.

The evil left (sorry for the redundancy) sees a fetus with a heartbeat as merely a clump of cells, to be discarded as a mother's inconvenience.

Communists ignore doctors-who have a great deal of science backing them-that have settled on the fact that a detected heartbeat in an embryo signifies new life. Communism believes killing more Americans will hasten their revolutionary victory, hence their promotion of abortion.

Abortion has already murdered almost 60 million American human beings, which, interestingly, is a number only outpaced by the 100-plus million killed by Communist tyranny itself.

Several states have recently passed legislation that severely restricts or abolishes abortion completely.

This may reach the SCOTUS again. If so, it should be weighed not only in reference to its application of evil, but also a states rights matter. After all, aren't Communists always moaning that men in Washington should have no say regarding abortion?

Scientifically speaking, you can't have it both ways.
