Waiting in the drive thru window line at the Baxter Wells Fargo branch office by Culver's on Thursday, a couple in a truck pulling a trailer with a small load of landscape block turned out onto Danielson Road from Menard's.
While taking the corner, their load of blocks slid off the trailer out onto the street and shoulder, creating a mess-and a lot of work for the couple to pick up.
Almost immediately, two or three people in vehicles passing by pulled over, got out and started helping picking up the spilled blocks; two Wells Fargo employees left the building and went to assist also. With all the help, it only took 10 minutes or so to get everything back on the trailer and the couple were back on their way.
A shining example of the actions of good people living in the lakes area that don't make front page headlines every day.
