Pete Stauber has it right for Congressional District 8. I have accompanied Pete on visits with citizens throughout Aitkin and Crow Wing counties.
Pete understands the needs of our communities. Please don't believe the outright lies in the garbage mailers and TV ads. Here is what I witnessed as Pete talked with citizens in our area.
On health care, Pete will absolutely protect the prohibition on insurance companies from using a pre-existing condition as justification for not insuring you.
On Social Security, I observed Pete reassure senior after senior, under no circumstance will he allow that benefit to be messed with, in fact he will work to strengthen that system.
On the environment and jobs, Pete is committed to both protecting our environment and having good paying jobs in our part of Minnesota.
