We often hear right wing politicians invoking text from Leviticus to condemn and judge their neighbors. On any day of the week, those same folks will happily go to Red Lobster and break the Leviticus prohibition on eating shellfish without giving it a second thought. There isn't any question that Reagan is held in high esteem in these circles. The man that broke the Air Traffic Controllers Union was also the man that torched the Meat Packers Union. Reagan did this by granting amnesty to thousands of undocumented immigrants. By working for less and by sheer numerical force, union paid meat packers were made extinct. You've probably heard how the Republicans now plan on making the immigrant meat packers extinct now, too. The chickens will be sent to China for butchering. Undocumented immigrants were used by the Republican Party to kill union scale pay. Leviticus 19:34 also teaches, "You shall treat a stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the Land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God." Sen. Paul Gazelka isn't fit for leadership with his small characterization of God's children as "illegals" now that his party is done using them. I'm tired of his user party. Have you noticed that they claim God is always on their side despite taking countervailing positions on matters of the day? Socialism is evil unless it's benefiting the wealthy exclusively, then it must be tripled. Making pious declarations of faith is quite different than putting them to work in state government.
