The Wadena City Council members have established a committee to research and recommend an all-terrain vehicle ordinance for recreational use, within Wadena city limits.
We know this has been a topic on Facebook, coffee shops, etc. in the recent past, and we are ready to dive in and create something safe, fun and reasonable for your community as a whole, if that's what our community desires.
An ordinance allowing ATVs for work use was just passed, which permits work-related use only permits available at either the city administrative office or police department and will take effect beginning March 7. No matter your feelings on the topic, we encourage you to contact a committee member or a council member and share your opinions. Please contact these officials by either a phone call, email, or in person. Thank you.
