As for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign? I will not vote for her but I don't plan to work for her either. One interesting observation. From Robert Gates' (Secretary of Defense) book, "Duty," I learned that Hillary is much more hawkish in foreign affairs than Obama, much less reluctant to use force, globally. Not Bush-like idiocy, but she advocated a much larger military role for U.S. in Libya.
I've also gone over her voting record as a two-term senator from New York, and will probably write a Politico piece on her. What's fascinating is she grew up in a powerful Illinois Republican family. After Bill Clinton won the Arkansas governorship a reporter asked her, "Did you ever think you'd be the First Lady of the State of Arkansas?" She answered, "Are you kidding, my parents thought I'd be a Supreme Court Justice by now."
Not a great selection of candidates so far.
On the one hand, Hillary is already a disappointment (compared to a couple people who could be running). On the other hand if we ever get to the point where the Republican party can offer somebody who's only a disappointment and not a full-on affront to human decency, well, that would be something.
