BRAINERD — The city of Brainerd will remove snow from the boulevards and roundabouts of College Drive, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12.

This process will consist of large equipment and trucks in the outside lanes of College Drive. The operations will continue throughout the day until about 2:30 p.m., so as to not interfere with school and work traffic. If the operations are not completed on Wednesday, the work will be finished Thursday.

Motorists should watch for heavy equipment and traffic control on the street and remember this equipment has many blind spots. Drivers should not assume operators can see them and should use caution when traveling on College Drive for these two days, as some of the snow removal may, in turn, cause some icy spots for a few days.
