Connie Weber and Joi Brandt tied for third with 16 points followed by Janie Pommer with 14, Gloria Thomas and Sandy O'Day with 13 and Barb Owens with 12.

Verna Miller and Sylvia Schmitt tied at 11 points. Martha Polsfuss scored 10 and Dori Leininger collected nine.

Whitefish men

PEQUOT LAKES-Paul Schmidt, Arlen Stensby, Bill Carlson and Bill Johander captured the team foursome event Tuesday, June 11, in the Whitefish Golf Club men's league.

Paul Kaufenberg, Al Falconer, Steve Holubar and James Devinck placed second. Bob Beatty, James Bydlon, William McKee and Frank Roedl placed third followed by Stephen Ogren, John Farrell, James McKeehen and Mike Carnahan.

Tom Baker and Mike Einan made the longest putts. Don Skalman, Jim Rauenhorst were closest to the pin.

Whitefish women

PEQUOT LAKES-Barb Holubar's net 63 was the overall low net Wednesday, June 12, in the Whitefish Golf Club's women's 18-hole league.

Roxanne Thompson was second in the first flight with a 64. Debbie Enger captured the front nine low net and Cathy Munger was low on the back nine.

Cheryl Bontrager's 65 was low for the second flight followed by Connie Weber. Diane Giefer was low on the front nine and Kathy Coombs on the back nine.

Ginny Sitzer fired a net 67 to win the third flight and Judy Eastwood was second. Sandy Meyer posted the lowest net score on the front and Mary Kay Kendall was low on the back.

Teresa Nelson made two chip-in birdies. Enga Wodziak had one.

Other chip ins were made by Nancy Einan, Nancy Schmidt and Nancy McEnroe. Enger, Munger, Barb Hanson carded birdies. Holubar and Pat Kline each had two.
