BLAINE — With no jazz portion, Brainerd decided to sweep the kick division as Brainerd scored three rank points in both varsity and junior varsity Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Blaine Invite.

Brainerd’s varsity scored 380 points, 49 more than second-place Centennial. Brainerd scored the highest marks in all 10 categories.

“We saw improvement from the prior week,” Brainerd head coach Cindy Clough said. “Even with substantial choreography enhancements. The team is hitting it hard to prepare for the conference this coming weekend at Sartell.”
