CROSBY — Morgan Eckes went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Pequot Lakes Patriots who swept a Mid-State Conference doubleheader against the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 10-0, 13-3 Friday, April 23.

Eckes was also the winning pitcher in Game One pitching seven innings with only two hits allowed and eight strikeouts.

Catherine Ganley finished 2-4 with a double with one RBI. Afton Crocker went 2-3 with a run driven in.

Kaitlyn Geschwill went 2-3 with a double with two RBIs in Game Two and was the winning pitcher in five innings. She allowed six hits and struck out seven.

Madison Lucas went 2-4 with a double and two RBIs and Crocker hit a double and drove in another run.

Maci Martini was 1-4 with one run and one RBI.

In Game Two, Briana Miller was 2-2 with a run. Mya Decent went 1-3 with a run and an RBI and Jocelyn Glomski was 1-2 with two RBIs for C-I.

Emily Sadlovsky pitched four innings with four strikeouts to get the win.

DETROIT LAKES — Izzy Dukowitz tallied three hits for the Little Falls Flyers in their 13-1 win over Detroit Lakes Friday, April 23.

WADENA — Katelyn Gardner hit a home run for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines as they lost both games of a doubleheader 14-10, 11-3 against the Menahga Braves Thursday, April 22. Gardner’s home run came in Game One and she finished with two RBIs.

Emma Hinton 3-4 hit a double with one RBIs in Game One.

Mercedes Schulz went 1-2 hitting a double with two RBIs along with Nevada Schulz 1-3 who also hit a double with one RBIs as Menahga knocked off the Wolverines 14-10 in Game One.

Nevada Schulz went 1-2 with a double in Game Two along with Mjya Nemeth also hitting a double. Emma Hinton went 2-3 with one RBI along with Mercedes Schulz who had one RBI in the Wolverines 11-3 loss.
