ANDOVER-Matt Allord's three goals and three assists lifted the Brainerd Warriors to a 12-0 blowout of Anoka-Hennepin Thursday, Jan. 31,

Spencer Thompson went for two goals and three assists and Blaise Edinger and Jacob Elias both finished with four points for the Warriors, who won for the 36th-straight time.

Edinger also recorded seven saves in relief of Tate Boelter, who secured five saves and then scored a late second-period goal.

Kaydn Robinson scored twice and Brach Delcastillo added another goal for the Warriors, who defeated Anoka 13-3 on Jan. 16, which was Brainerd's last game.

"After having our first home game canceled this week and missing practice time due to school closing, our team responded very well tonight," Warriors head coach Todd Person said. "Our players stick work was a bit rough at the start, but we had a ton of shots that were created by our ability to hold the offensive zone.

"We've been working in practice on our defensive coverage and I thought Maddox Canon, Spencer Thompson and Karlee Schuler all did an excellent job of keeping Anoka from having open looks at the net. Tate Boelter shared time in the goal with Balise Edinger and they both did a good job of keeping the shutout victory. The kids were glad to be able to get the game in tonight and we're looking forward to getting to see Robbinsdale next Tuesday at home."
