Camron Glassmann registered two goals for the Brainerd Warrior' adapted floor hockey team as they beat Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville 6-1 in a North Conference game Thursday at Riverside Elementary.
Blaise Edinger tallied a goal and two assists for the Warriors, who lead the North Conference with a 5-0 record.
"Tonight we were able to get the newer players a lot of time on the floor," Warriors coach Todd Person said. "Blaise Edinger came up big in the first period with a goal to get us on the board. Camron Glassmann and Lucas Clover both recorded their first goals. Sammy Perttula who has been a defenseman for us in the past played some significant time out and also put in his second goal of the season.
"I have been really impressed this season with seventh-grader Karlee Schuler's effort anytime she is on the floor. She played in the chair defense position against Robbinsdale (on Tuesday) and tonight she recorded a couple of assists. Karlee seems to understand where she needs to put the puck and makes some amazing passes.
"Everyone gave us a good effort tonight and we moved the puck around well. We have a big game next Tuesday against a strong Anoka team that took us to overtime earlier in the season."
