MAPLE GROVE - Brach Delcastillo flicked in two goals sparking the unbeaten Brainerd Warriors to a 5-0 North Conference victory over Maple Grove Thursday.
The Warriors rotated several players in goal with Decastillo and Cody Vleck getting credited with four saves each. Camron Glassman, Jake Heikkenen and Randy Volkmuth finished with two saves apiece.
Also netting goals were Blaise Edinger, Sammy Perttula and Karlee Schuler while Lucas Clover, Schuler and Heikkenen collected assists.
"Tonight we had another opportunity to get our younger players in the game in several positions," said Brainerd head coach Todd Person. "Zachary Denny played the first period in goal tonight and looked good. He's been working both in and out of practice on improving his play in net.
"Brach Delcastillo played well tonight putting two in as he saw significant time on the floor. Karlee Schuler put in her second goal of the year and played solid for us again."

Brainerd leads the conference with a 7-0 mark and previously beat Maple Grove 10-0 Jan. 27.
