Pequot Lakes eighth-grader Calia Chaney qualified for the Rocky/Central USSA U14 Junior Championships following three days of racing in Marquette, Mich.

The qualifying series of races includes the top USSA racers from four central regions, encompassing 11 states. Athletes are selected by using a World Cup point system combining rankings from the best three of six total races including both slalom and giant slalom, runs.
