Alpine Skiing: Neifert, Warrior boys win at Wild Mountain

TAYLORS FALLS — Brainerd’s Brandon Neifert took the top spot and the Warrior boys combined to take four of the top five spots in a 347-263 win over Hill-Murray Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Wild Mountain.

Neifert’s overall time of 62.86 gained the top spot with Gavin Hoelzel finishing second with 63.14. Esten Hiebert and Sean Baumann rounded out the top five with a fourth- and fifth-place finish.

Erin Hoelzel placed fifth to lead the Warriors who fell to Hill-Murray 318-192.

Brainerd’s Lauren Kalenberg finished sixth and Alli Krantz eighth.

Wild Mountain will be the site of the Section 5 meet.
