Alpine Skiing: Warrior boys ski to 1st

Brainerd traveled to Powder Ridge for a triangular.

KIMBALL — Brainerd’s Gavin Hoelzel finished second overall with a 44.32 as the Warrior boys placed first at the St. Cloud Tri-Meet Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Powder Ridge.

Brandon Neifert followed closely in third place and Esten Hiebert finished fourth.

The Warrior girls were second as a team with their best showing coming from Calia Chaney’s 51.37 third-place finish. Erin Hoelzel placed sixth for the Warriors and Carsyn Krassas was seventh and Hannah Taylor ninth.
