LUTSEN — Brainerd’s Madison Kalenberg was the individual medalist with a 1:03.72 time as the Warrior girls and boys both placed first in Brainerd’s season opener Friday, Dec. 13, at the Cook County Invite.
Kalenberg was followed by Brainerd’s Emma Hiebert in fifth, Erin Hoelzel in seventh and Calia Chaney in 10th.
The Warriors’ Cal Madison paced the boys with his second-place time of 1:01.10 time. Esten Hiebert finished fourth, Gavin Hoelzel eighth and Max Darkow ninth.
