Kevin Peterson hit a double and Tim Martin collected Brainerd's other hit.
Hanson Devine was tagged with the loss. He allowed six runs on six hits and eight walks. He struck out eight.
Nate Freihammer pitched the victory for the Cyclones. He struck out four and walked one.
