Amateur Baseball: Bees lose despite Peterson's pitching

Blake Peterson struck out 12 in seven innings and allowed just two hits but didn't figure in the decision as the Brainerd Bees were defeated by the Sauk Rapids Cyclones 10-5 in a Lakewood League game Sunday at Adamson Field.

Peterson allowed only one earned run, walked four and hit a batter.

Kevin Peterson, Joel Martin and Blake Peterson each had two hits. Kevin Peterson finished 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, Blake Peterson was 2-for-5 with an RBI and Bryce Flanagan ripped an RBI double.
