PIERZ-Lastrup exploded for a seven-run third inning leading to Wednesday's 11-2 victory over the Pierz Bulldogs.
Brad Meyer, who pitched the victory, finished 4-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Jason Sadlovsky was the only other Lakers player with more than one hit as he finished 2-4 with a walk, RBI and a run scored.
Meyer pitched 7.2 innings. He allowed two runs on eight hits and five walks. He struck out six.
Brian Kiel was tagged with the loss. He went 6 innings. He allowed eight runs on 11 hits and three walks. He had one strikeout. Aaron Schultz was 3-5 and Andy Leidenforst was 2-4 with an RBI.

Buckman 8, Royalton 6
ROYALTON-Lane Girtz's game-tying RBI single followed by Travis Kahl's RBI single helped the Buckman Billygoats rally past Royalton 8-6 Wednesday.
Buckman built a 5-0 lead only to see Royalton score six runs in the bottom of the sixth to claim a 6-5 edge.
Buckman's Noah Boser finished 3-5 with a double, RBI and three runs scored. Joe Kahl was 3-5 with two RBIs.
