BUCKMAN-Mark Kahl pitched six innings to pick up the win and helped his own cause going 3-5 with a two-run homer and a double in the Buckman Billygoats 8-4 win over the Flensburg Falcons Sunday.

Noah Boser also had three hits and Joe Kahl and Zach Lanners contributed doubles for Buckman, which is one game behind Lastrup in the East Division race.

AITKIN-Jake Lynn allowed just three hits and struck out eight to lead the Aitkin Steam to a 10-1 victory over the Cuyuna Range Miners Sunday.

The victory gives the expansion Steam sole possession of third place in the North.

Brian Burman collected a double and four RBIs while going 4-5.

Lance Herbst scored the only run for the Miners on a wild pitch in the fourth inning.

The Brewers managed just four hits, one each by Dylan Kummet, Matt Kummet, Mike Poser and Breck Weber.

HOLDINGFORD-Derek Biniek's two-out, walk-off single lifted the Holdingford Express to a 1-0 11 inning victory over St. Mathias Sunday.

Justin Eschenbacher struck out eight and allowing six hits over 10 innings for the Devils before turning the mound over to Kolton Eischens, who took the loss.

Derek Thielen went the distance for Holdingford striking out 12 and allowing just three hits.

AITKIN-The Aitkin Steam may have caught the attention of law enforcement officials after swiping 11 bases in a 14-9 win over the St. Mathias Devils Saturday.

Winning pitcher Nathan Ehnstrom had three steals, while Wyatt Sanford and Brian Burman each had two.

Burman went 3-3 with a double, four runs and three RBIs. Dan Bender contributed a triple while going 2-4 with five RBIs and Drew Nordean finished 3-5 with four RBIs.

Matt Tautges was 2-5 with a double for St. Mathias and Nick Herold also had two hits.
